May 7, 8, & 9: Three events in Narrowsburg, NY

May 7, 1:30 – 3:30 pm I’ll be talking about Second Chances in Fiction and in Life at Tusten Social’s Sage Session. I will speak about how the freedom of aging has allowed me second chances to do what I’d always dreamed of, using examples from my life and both my published books. Free Lunch, Socializing, Talk, Q&A. Books for sale & signing. DVAA, 37 Main St. Narrowsburg. https://wwtustensocial.org
May 8, 5 – 8 pm I’ll be facilitating a nature-based memoir-writing circle for up to 10 participants at a private home. Information & Registration here.
May 9, 2 – 5 pm Join me and One Grand Books at the 108 for a discussion of Reviving Artemis: The Making of a Huntress, my memoir of transformation, risk, and later-in-life awakening. This was unquestionably a heroic journey—both walking into the woods in the dark with a rifle and writing this deeply personal story. And the journey isn’t over: I’m now an Artemis Ambassador for the National Wildlife Federation, “committed to building a community dedicated to Artemis’ wild spirit and conservation ethos.” In conversation with Erin Fairbanks at 108 Main Street, Narrowsburg. Books for sale & signing. More info here.
